We created Net Gremlin to bring top pickleball brands together in one place and make it simple to compare gear, discover new favorites, and find the equipment that fits your game best. From paddles and balls to bags, nets, and accessories, our goal is to offer a curated selection of products for players of all skill levels.

Net Gremlin is owned by Bomberger’s Store, a sixth-generation family-owned business based in Lititz, Pennsylvania. We’re excited to continue growing the pickleball community both locally and online while creating a shopping experience that feels approachable, helpful, and built for players.

 

So...Why “Net Gremlin”?

Pickleball is competitive, social, and a whole lot of fun. We wanted a name that captured that same energy. Net Gremlin was created to feel playful, memorable, and competitive, while still being focused on helping players find great gear from the brands they know and trust.

In pickleball slang, a “net gremlin” is the imaginary force players jokingly blame when a ball catches the top of the net tape and barely trickles over to the other side, or when it hits the tape and dies unexpectedly. It’s one of those funny, frustrating, or lucky moments that can completely change a rally in an instant.

While it’s not an official pickleball term, “net gremlin” has become a playful phrase used throughout the sport to describe unpredictable net cord shots and chaotic changes in momentum. It’s one of those moments that players laugh about, apologize for, and secretly celebrate all at the same time.

That mix of competition and fun is exactly what inspired the name Net Gremlin.
